The Hildebrand Equine Complex offers students a unique opportunity to develop event management skills in several areas. Students will have the opportunity to work with University and private groups in areas such as athletics, banquets, meetings, workshops, and retreats, just to name a few. Students will assist with special projects, host groups, help develop marketing material and customer satisfaction surveys, and experience hands-on facility and event management. |

The Hildebrand Equine Complex offers paid internships for the Summer, Spring, and Fall. Students will have the opportunity to work 15-30 hours a week gaining experience in multiple areas of event and facility management. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to meet and communicate with staff members throughout multiple areas of the University including Department Heads and Deans of Colleges. You will build customer service and communication skills by speaking with clients through email, phone calls, and face-to-face. You will learn from professional event planners who are hired for large scale events and make personal relationships with them. Interns will spend a lot of time being outside on the grounds of the beautiful facility and have the opportunity to watch the Texas A&M Equestrian Team practice for competitions.

Achievements |
As an intern at the Hildebrand Equine Complex, I have added dozens of events onto the event calendar, created marketing material for each event, and submitted work orders for facility upkeep purposes. I analyzed event rental data from the last 3 years and created visual aides so that Ms. Galloway could use the material to present to Department Heads.
